Employment Highly engaged employees are important in an organization to ensure that what organization has invested gets return via organizations performance and good returns. Lack of understanding towards the factors and influence of employee engagement can cause employers not able to initiate activities and appropriate action to improve the level of ‘engagement’ among employees. Employees would be highly engaged if they believe that their contribution contributes to organizational goals, that their organization values their work, that their employer believes in their abilities, and, most importantly, that their aspirations for growth, career path, rewards, and benefits are met. Lack of awareness of the elements of employee engagement in an organization can lead to employers and human resources departments failing to take appropriate measures to enhance employee motivation and performance while meeting organizational objectives. The purpose of this study is to examine and gain a better understanding of the relationship between job engagement, job satisfaction and organizational commitment in UDA Holdings Berhad. This questionnaire of this study with dual language (English and Malay) is distributed online (google form) and a total of 131 employees of UDA Holdings Berhad. In addition, this study also tried to examine the influence of all three predictors which are; organizational commitment, work-life balance and job satisfaction on employee engagement. Findings from the study are significant to organizations with specific and valid factors influencing employee engagement. This study also identifies areas that need improvement and strategies for interventions to ensure UDA Holdings Berhad employees are well engaged. Aside from that, the findings of this study may directs to the new policies and the streamlining of existing policies, as well as more engagement activities that may enhance the value of investment (VOI) rather than just return of investment (ROI), as long as it continues to improve organizational commitment, work-life balance and job satisfaction. 2021 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/10135/1/depositpermission-not%20allow_s823479.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/10135/2/s823479_01.pdf text en https://etd.uum.edu.my/10135/3/s823479_02.pdf Mardhiah, Ahmad @ Ahmaddiah (2021) Predictors of employee engagement in UDA Holdings Berhad.
