Description
Summary:To evaluate effect of compaction degree to performance life of pavement, the study about these aspects is needed. This paper describes the correlativity between compaction percentage and performance life asphalt concrete. These correlations will give awareness to practitioner that the void content is a crucial factor in performance life of asphalt concrete. Two tests will carry out to provide quantitative information on performance life asphalt concrete on various degree of compaction. The tests are dynamic creep test and wheel tracking test. The performance life results indicate low porosity specimen is more resistance to permanent deformation than high porosity specimen
