Description
Summary:This research provides a methodology to develop a framework for collaborative automated negotiation on value-based decision. It is based on a theoretical approach that consist of value-based decision nature in construction project, group choice in multi criteria decision making (GCMCDM), game theory, negotiation theory, generic negotiation model, and multi-agent system. This methodology combines value analysis method, decision method and multi agent development method. Function Analysis System Technique (FAST) has been chosen for value analysis. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is for decision process and Multi Agent System (MAS) is for negotiation support. The group choice is based on threestakeholder’s preferences and concept of protocol negotiation. Results presented are knowledge and process of group decision making and negotiation to select an exterior wall system of an office building. The methodology will contribute to the body of knowledge in decision science and value management by making an advance tools using negotiation for many decision tools. Keywords: Construction, Collaborative Negotiation, Value-based Decision, Multi-agent System, AHP.
