Bluetooth Compatible Wideband Sierpinski Patch Antenna and Receiving Front End for TV Reception in Vehicles
This paper reports the design and development of a wideband 400MHz to 800MHz and a 2.4GHz Bluetooth Sierpinski patch antenna and the receiver interface with the patch antenna. The performance of the line up is simulated, analyzed and optimized. The simulations results indicate that a good low a...

Summary: | This paper reports the design and development of a
wideband 400MHz to 800MHz and a 2.4GHz Bluetooth
Sierpinski patch antenna and the receiver interface with the
patch antenna. The performance of the line up is simulated,
analyzed and optimized. The simulations results indicate that a
good low and high frequency antenna can be achieved through
fractal based technique. The outcome of the design is a >12dB
return loss wideband 400MHz bandwidth antenna operating
from 400-800MHz. With the presence of the multi-band
characteristic, a resonance at 2.4GHz can together be achieved
with >15dB return loss. Eventually the designed patch antenna
can be interacted to the receiving front end and simulated to
prove the feasibility of the line as far as RF performance is
concerned. |
