Characterization of Silica-Supported Iron Nanocatalyst Prepared by Modified Colloidal Method and Wet Impregnation Method
Silica-supported iron nanocatalysts were prepared by the modified colloidal method and wet impregnation method. The iron loading for both methods were kept at 6 wt%. The catalyst samples were characterized by TPR, FESEM and TEM. TEM analysis revealed that average particle size for the iron particles...

Summary: | Silica-supported iron nanocatalysts were prepared by the modified colloidal method and wet impregnation method. The iron loading for both methods were kept at 6 wt%. The catalyst samples were characterized by TPR, FESEM and TEM. TEM analysis revealed that average particle size for the iron particles is 8 ±3.3 nm and 7 ±2.9 nm for the colloidal and impregnation method, respectively.
Key words: Iron nanocatalyst, colloidal, impregnation, TEM.
