Road accidents fatalities have contributed about six percent from all deaths in Malaysia. Although our authorities always bragging about the decreased of road accidents death every years and improvement of cars safety standard, but there is a need to overcome accidents by introducing new techniques to decrease the statistics for the upcoming years. Yet, GPS is one of the alternatives that could help in decreasing the accidents. Brief study from statistic given by Royal Malaysian Police, bend road type is the third highest percentage that contributes to accidents in Malaysia. To minimize the accidents rate in this country, this project will develop a GPS application which provides 'buzz' sound as alertness to tell the drivers that there are dangerous corner ahead. Algorithm to warn driver that there will be dangerous corner ahead is implemented in this project that will notify the drivers within 700 meters before sharp corner. Hence, drivers will be likely ready to take the corners readily and safely by slowing their cars when hearing precaution sound. Besides, this system will give suggestions to the closest emergency places by only refreshing the list of the places and pin point the emergency places on map. © 2016 IEEE.
