Summary:This study examines the relationship between motivation and job satisfaction among guidance and counseling teachers‟ school in Pasir Gudang district, Johor. A total of 140 guidance and counseling teachers were selected by sample to aim and provide feedback on motivation and job satisfaction questionnaires online. This quantitative study uses the Work Preference Inventory (WPI) instrument to measure teacher motivation and the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) instrument to measure teacher job satisfaction. Data were collected and processed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20.0. Descriptive analysis involves frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation to display the demographics of respondents in terms of gender and school category. While inference statistics are used to see the relationship between motivation and job satisfaction among guidance and counseling teachers. The findings of the study also found that there is no significant relationship between the level of motivation and the level of job satisfaction among guidance and counseling teachers.
