Description
Summary:This study aims to identify the level of readiness on the use of Google Classroom application as a teaching platform among Cluster school teachers in Johor Bahru district. A total of 210 respondents were involved as the study sample. The study design that has been used is quantitative. The total of 210 teachers from the Cluster schools in the Johor Bahru district were determined based on simple random sampling. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. This study was analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) software in the form of descriptive statistics that is percentage, frequency and mean as well one-way ANOVA were used for inferential statistics. The results of the analysis show that most of the Cluster school teachers in Johor Bahru have shown positive feedback on the level of teacher’s readiness in terms of attitude, infrastructure in school and teacher practice in using Google Classroom application. Meanwhile, the findings of the study also prove that there is no significant difference for the readiness of teachers in terms of attitudes and practices in the process of using Google Classroom application across the teachers teaching experience and academic qualifications. Therefore, the implications of this study have suggested to the school, Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD) and Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri (JPN) to encourage teachers to use the Google Classroom application widely and effectively as a platform in the teaching process.
