Summary: | ,Islamic education suggests teaching and learning (PdP) delivered theoretically and practically. The practical presentation of content in Islamic Education, primarily in worship (ibadah), has been practised since the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. This study was conducted to examine practical PdP characteristics implemented in secondary schools following the mainstream of education. The qualitative study design was selected to collect data and then processed and analysed using Nvivo 12.0 application. The analysis results verified that PdP practical teaching characteristics of and learning Islamic Education were based on three fundamental components: attractive activities, performed in groups and based on resources. Attractive activities suggest exercises that challenge, motivate and encourage students to explore lesson topics and descriptions theoretically. |
