In order to achieve the main objective of the study, the researcher used the descriptive, analytical and comparative approach. The study concluded that the crime of trafficking in children constitutes one of the most important challenges facing most of the countries of the world given its dire effects that affect the rights and fundamental freedoms of the child and therefore perpetuating contemporary slavery. Children are considered among the age groups that are of great importance, especially considering that they are the most vulnerable groups and that they need care, protection and fostering. In addition, the rules of international humanitarian law affirm the importance of general and special protection for children through the development of the international legal system. The researcher recommends the necessity of developing an effective strategy based on international cooperation to combat the crime of trafficking in children. This study recommends the necessity of establishing a specialized committee that has the capacity for conducting criminal investigation of the crime of human trafficking to investigate the crimes under this system.
