Knowledge is seen as a critical asset of an organisation that can be useful in enhancing the efficiency of its operational processes. Based on previous studies, a model was developed to suggest a relationship between knowledge sharing and four of the individual determinants, namely, image, self-worth, self-efficacy and extrinsic motivation. A total of 105 questionnaires were used to collect data from senior high-school teachers in the new Juaben Municipality, Ghana. Partial least square (PLS) was utilised to analyse the data. The result of the study indicates that self-efficacy and self-worth have a positive significant relationship with knowledge sharing. However, the hypotheses on image and extrinsic motivation fail to be supported. The practical implications of these results are discussed.
