Summary:Ministry of Education is concerned with the management of teachers' instructional time . This study discusses the performance of schools in protecting instructional time in primary school . The level of school performance in protecting instructional time is measured based on the four elements of the Action Plan MMI Ministry of Education 2013. The study was conducted using a quantitative descriptive statistics which involves 134 samples. The results obtained from a questionnaire administered by teachers in 11 schools in Muar , analyzed using Statistic Package For the Social Sciences ( SPSS ) . This study attempts to answer the questions about the implementation of the school, elements and major strategies in protecting instructional time . In addition , this study also would like to see differences in the MMI school teachers based on gender , number of teachers and school grades , relationships between school performance and major strategies based on three types of implementation strategies substitute teachers , classroom management among teachers and pupils are hopefully this study will be beneficial to the teachers in their efforts to protect instructional time to ensure student excel to realize eventually improve the school.
