Summary:The purpose of this article is to highlights on Malaysia’s recognized Web-based health information service which is aimed for the public well-being through providing access to quality healthcare services. MyHEALTH Portal has been created particularly to educate local health consumers regarding health issues and to empower them in making wise decision making within the health context. The main contribution of this paper is, it sheds light on the significant development of MyHEALTH Portal in the country which is rarely been discussed within the field of study. Additionally, the paper is also expecting to contribute to the health portal’s literature through the milestones of MyHEALTH Portal development and the healthcare scenario highlighted. Finally, the paper is also of its value by pointing out valuable recommendations from the internal key player with regard to the long-term goal of the portal.
