Summary:The study aims to identify pre-school teachers' knowledge and skill using dramatic play based on teaching experience and academic qualifications in Peninsular Malaysia. The respondents consisted of 898 pre-school teachers obtained from the four zones using multi-cluster sampling method. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 42 items. Data were analyzed using mean score and ANOVA. The results showed that pre-school teachers' knowledge and skill were at a high level. The results also showed that there were differences of preschool teachers' knowledge in using dramatic play based on the teaching experience, and there were differences of preschool teachers' skill in using dramatic play based on teaching experience. While based on academic qualifications, there were differences of preschool teachers' knowledge, but there were not differences of preschool teachers' skill in using dramatic play. Discussions and recommendation on this study furthermore were discussed in this article.
