Description
Summary:Graphene nanosheets/Pt (GNS/Pt) nanocomposite was successfully fabricated via clean chemical reduction method. The nanocomposite was characterized by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscope and high resolution transmission electron microscope, which revealed that Pt nanoparticles were completely formed and homogenously distributed on the GNS. The electrochemical activities of the catalysts were investigated by cyclic voltammogram. The experimental results showed that GNS/Pt nanocomposites catalyst exhibited superior electrocatalytic activity for methanol oxidation. These results suggest that GNS/Pt nanocomposites would be a promising anode catalyst for DMFC.
