Description
Summary:The aim of this study was to examine the factorial structure of the Ummatic Personality Inventory. The sample of this study was a group of female students (n=287) in a government school. Data was analysed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The findings for the structural model revealed that Fardhu 'Ain correlated to the Fardhu Kifayah (commitment to Islam). This reflects that Fardhu 'Ain-closing to God, following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad- is significantly related to Islamic-related activities, more particularly participating in Islamic organization and giving charity. Thus, more efforts should be put on educating the closing to God and following up Prophet, representing Fardhu 'Ain.
