The term fiqh forensics is a combination of 'the theory and philosophy of Islamic law' and 'the scientific approach in investigation' which can explain on the crucial need to combine and integrate on these two fields. This article attempted to explore more on the concept of fiqh forensics and its application towards human life especially in the field of al-'Uqubat (punishment). Focus of this study is related to the issue of autopsy and identification process of deceased. Deductive, inductive and historical methods on textual analysis were used in this research.
