There are now more than a thousand varieties of roses in the world. Recent years, there are a lot of approaches had been done to propagate rose through in vitro technique. Advances in in vitro culture methods, has expand to lighting requirements which focusing on Light Emitting Diodes (LED) and photoperiod manipulated. Studies showed that LED light is such a promising light source after fluorescent light (FL). Light spectrum from LED can be narrowed to enhance growth as well as save time too. This paper reports a new approach on shoot production of in vitro plant growth of Rossa spp. The experiment was carried out by cultured in MS (Murashige and Skoog, 1962) medium supplemented with 3% (w/v) of sucrose, 0.25% Gelritetm (Duchefa), 1.5 mg/L of BAP hormone for growth and 1.0 mg/L of Kinetin, 100mg/L myo-inositol and 100mg/L of Ferrum. The cultured then had been exposed to 3 light treatments under two types of photoperiods, which are 16/8 hours and 19/5 hours (light/dark). The results showed significant difference for all treatment. 2015 Conference or Workshop Item PeerReviewed Azmi, Nurul Syahirah and Ahmad, Robiah and Ibrahim, Rusli (2015) Effect of led lights, plant growth regulator and photoperiod on shoot production of in vitro propagated Rosa Spp. In: 2015 International Conference on Smart Sensors and Application (ICSSA), 26-28 May, 2015, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/conferencedetails/index.html?Conf_ID=33739
