Summary:Social exclusion, as a multidimensional concept, reflects a combination of inter-related factors with the potential to impede individuals from full participation in the society. This study aims to identify main factors affecting student inclusion with the campus environment. This quantitative research employed survey method. The data was collected using a stratified sample of 312 students in three universities of Malaysia. Through conducting Principal Component Analysis, ten factors including legibility, social relation, hostel quality, facilities, extracurricular activities, accessibility, safety, comfort, academic services, and transportation were extracted. Legibility is perceived by students as an influential factor of inclusion in the campus environment.
