This report is to present a microstrip patch antenna for (ADS-B) System application at 1090MHz is designed and implemented. A microstrip antenna line feed double T- slots are proposed, the proposed antenna is fed through 50 ohm microstrip line with T-slot at the back to achieve some high degree of miniaturization. The overall size of the antenna is 82mm x 65 mm with the electrical length of 0.298? x 0.236? at frequency of 1090MHz. From the experimental results obtained ,the antenna resonates at 1090MHz which is make a suitable for the (ADS-B) application with omnidirectional radiation pattern and return loss, The design is validated by measurement and simulated result are compared and the antenna meets the requirement of the application 2014 Thesis NonPeerReviewed Babani, Suleiman (2014) Development and fabrication of microstrip patch antenna for automatic dependent surveillance broadcast (ADS-B) system.
