Summary:The study was meant to identify the level of knowledge and management practices in high school science labs Chanis Zone, Muadzam Shah, Pahang. This study was also conducted to determine the relationship between level of knowledge and management practices in the school science laboratory study. Studies were also conducted to examine the difference between the level of knowledge about laboratory management by gender, academic qualifications and length of service. Apart from the studies conducted to examine the difference between the level of science lab management practices with gender, academic qualifications and length of service. 57 survey respondents, consisting of teachers and laboratory science courses that are directly involved in laboratory management in seven secondary schools Chanis Zone, Muadzam Shah .. . Distributed questionnaires consists of three sections designed to obtain background information on the respondents, knowledge of laboratory management and laboratory management practices which they practiced each day. The pilot study showed the items are high with Cronbach Alpha index knowledge management science labs give management practices is 0.880 and 0.861. Data were analyzed using SPSS Version 18.0 for the mean, standard deviation, percentage, t-test, and correlation Pearson. The results showed that the level of knowledge and laboratory management practices are at a high level. Analysis of the study showed a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and laboratory management practices among teachers and lab assistants. The differences are only significant difference between the level of knowledge among teachers and lab assistants with academic qualifications.
