Summary:Decision making is very crucial in every organization. This descriptive research was done to determine the habit of collaborative decision making among all principals and teachers in all MRSM in Johore. Addition to that, this research was done to identify differences in making collaborative decision making based on gender and experience of the teachers. Also, the correlation of collaborative decision making between principals and teachers. The questionnaires were developed by referring to research done by Hoy and Tarter (2001). The questionnaires were administrated to 100 teachers in MRSM in Johore. The questionnaires were found reliable with α = 0.921 in the preliminary study. All data collected from the research was analyze using the version 2.0 of Statiscal Package foe Social Science (SPSS). The data analysis shows the level of collaborative decision making among the principals is moderate and habit as a negotiator is the main element practiced by the principals. Moreover, this research shows that the level of collaborative among teachers is also moderate where the element of teachers’ skills and teachers’ attitude are slightly at the same level. Research also found there is no significant difference between teachers’ collaborative decision making in aspect of gender and working experience. In addition, the research also found no significant correlation between habit of teachers’ collaborative decision making and habit of principals collaborative decision making. As a summary, this research proposes that principals should increase the integration of teachers right to voice out in school. This may contribute to the improvement of collaborative decision making in school.
