Summary:The purpose of this study was to investigate teachers leadership concept in the secondary school. This study involved 92 respondents who are teachers in three secondary schools in Segamat district. The instrument used in the study was questionnaires and interviews. The questionnairre asked abaut the assumption dimension. Interviews was use to access the readyness and barriers dimensions. The data was analyzed by utilizing SPSS Software (Statistics Package for Social Science) version 16.0. The study revealed that teachers in the three school is not ready to accept the concept of teachers leadership. The respondent agree on some of the assumption dimension. The agreed views can be used as the foundation for the implementation of teacher leadership in secondary school. There are few barriers need to taken into account before the concept can be succesfully implemented.
