The qualitative approach with a multiple case studies was used in this study. Using the purposive sampling method, nine imams (IDM) from nine districts mosques in Johor were chosen as respondents. The data collected by interview were triangulated by documents and observation and were analyzed using NVivo 7.0. These qualitative data collected had formed three patterns of elements for each aspect of the Muslim family advice services. Results showed that the highest pattern for prevention aspect were firstly; practicing sunnah prayers, pleading to Almighty God, zikir and recitation certain verse of al-Quran, secondly; increasing the commitment on doing religious deeds, and thirdly; encouraging and having discussions with family members. The highest pattern for development aspect covers; seeking for information and adding knowledge; giving opinions, suggestions, and appropriating advices; and increasing the understanding and appreciation of religious teachings. The highest pattern for crisis management is first; practicing sunnah prayers, pleading to Almighty God, zikir and recitation of certain verse of al-Quran, second; doing self-reflection and third; giving opinions, suggestions and appropriating advices. Finally, the highest pattern for curing aspect includes, increasing the commitment on doing obligatory religious deeds; practicing sunnah prayers, pleading to Almighty God, zikir and reciting certain verse of al-Quran; and also increasing the awareness of responsibilities upon family members. From these highest patterns, a model of Muslim family advice services for Muslim society was been developed. It is hoped that this model could be used as guidelines for those who are involved in Muslim family advice services in all district mosques in the state of Johor. In addition, a number of suggestions and further actions were proposed at the end of this research.
