The quantitative study was conduct edusingquestion nairesas instruments for collecting data. Item statements for measuring the effectiveness of Islamic education were developed by the researcher. The instrument for measuring Islamic personality was modified from Ummatic Personality developed by Nooraini(2008). A pilot study was conducted to measure the reliability of the instrument. The data were collected and analyze dusing Statistical Packages For Social Sciences (SPSS) version17.0. Overall value of Cronbach Alphawas 0.95. Descriptive statistics used to analyze the data is mean, frequency,percentage and standard deviation. T-test was used to analyzethe differences in the level of effectiveness of Islamic education among the respondents according to the types of school andlevels of Islamic personality. The findings showed that there is no significant difference between the level of effectiveness of Islamic education based on the types of schools and the level of Islamic personality. Pearsoncor relation analysis with the significant level of 0.01 was used to analyze the relationship between the level of effectiveness of the Islamic education and the level of Islamic personality among the respondents.
