Network analysis in navigation can minimize the transportation cost, the disaster or accident impact and also able to provide right decision for the best route in certain situations. Dijkstra's algorithm is one of the algorithms that could be used in network analysis especially for 2D shortest route. However, network analysis for three-dimensional (3D) network is required when it involves navigation inside of a multi-level building. The complexity of buildings and their surroundings requires a system that can analyze the phenomenon in 3D environment. There are several attempts to utilize Dijkstra’s algorithm on 3D network. It is the aim of this study to investigate on the Dijkstra’s algorithm in 3D environment. The results from the network analysis will be shown by incorporating with 3D computer ga me engine (3D State).
