Description
Summary:This paper reports the study on the behaviour of a newly developed precast concrete beam-to-column connection. In this study, a total of two specimens were tested to investigate the behavior of the proposed precast concrete beam-to-column connections, which involves dry bolted cast in-situ connection. The behavior of the connections was studied through load-deflection, moment-rotation, and load-strain relationships. The results obtained from both cases have been compared to the results obtained from monolithic specimen. The results indicated that the bolted connection performed better than the monolithic specimen due to the good connection between beam and column.
