Shape representation based on closed curved convex hull

A new convex hull algorithm for starfruit shape defect estimation is presented in this paper. The proposed algorithm modifies the Melkmen algorithm to achieve a better computation efficiency. However, the proposed algorithm is restricted only to a simple boundary shape (closed curve).
