Summary:Cement-latex blends were prepared using two distinct approaches; without and with external water. Properties of fresh mixes and compressive strengths were examined. SEM and TGA were employed for morphological observations and heat endurance assessments respectively. Findings suggest pre-mixing with 20% latex without external water shows potential to perform at elevated temperatures.
