| Summary: | This project is about implementation of Document Management and Filing Archival System for Digital Library. From initial findings, the current method of preservation archival data using microfilm technology in Sultanah Zanariah Library is not effective because the process of storing, retrieval and searching documents is done manually. The main disadvantage of current system is that this system does not support simultaneous access of several users to this data. The proposed system is based on use of Digital Imaging technology and will help to solve the problem connected to access. After digitizing the library’s microfilm collections it will become possible to view it through local area network or Internet. It is hoped that after this system is implemented the number of library’s users who want to view this information will increase. |
