Various approaches should be given attention and a thorough study including counseling services. In addition to conventional counseling, the Islamic counseling approach that makes the Quran, as-Sunnah, and Hadith the main reference and guide should be explored in more depth. Looking at the importance of spiritual strength as one of the sources of resilience building to address mental health issues, this study aims to study and explore the concepts of Islamic counseling and Adler counseling for the best intervention construction. This study involves the study of analysis through primary and secondary sources such as the Quran, hadiths, journals, books, and so on where the best data are selected and combined to form a model that can be applied in the counseling session. This model emphasizes Islamic concepts such as knowledge and deeds, faith and confidence in Allah SWT as well as involving the concept of individual counseling such as social interests, past experiences, and feelings of inferiority. In addition, this model also focuses on the role played by counselors as role models through the attitudes and skills shown when conducting counseling sessions. The best attitudes and personalities shown by counselors can contribute to forming a positive personality in an individual or client which at the same time becomes a key medium to increase resilience in themselves. This article is expected to serve as a guide for researchers to develop and build various methods of intervention, especially involving Islamic counseling.
