Ariff QA Mathematics The hydromagnetic squeeze flow and heat transfer of Jeffrey fluid in two plates over permeable medium is investigated. The effects of slip condition and viscous dissipation are considered in the mathematical model. Transformation of the partial differential equations (PDEs) to ordinary differential equations (ODEs) is performed by imposing similarity variables. Numerical procedure of Keller-box is employed to solve the dimensionless equations. The solutions for skin friction are compared with published solutions from the journal to validate the current solutions and it is shown in close agreement. The physical behavior of velocity and wall shear stress are analyzed for squeezing parameter. The results show the acceleration of wall shear stress and velocity when the surfaces approaching each other. The increment of Jeffrey fluid and Hartmann parameters decrease the velocity and temperature. The temperature and the rate of thermal transfer boosts with the existence of viscous dissipation.
