In this study, it was found that there are two types of challenges that students experienced while using online learning which are internal and external challenges. The external challenges consist of lack of technology facilities, aspects of group work and lecturer"s support. For the the internal challenges, it relates to students" readiness and personal problems. In overcoming the challenges, the respondents stated that there are several strategies that are helpful and meaningful such as sufficient technology facilities, lecturers" support, students" readiness to face new norms and improve personal management. There is a need of cooperation from the government, the Ministry of Higher Education, the university, and students in resolving the constraints of online learning as it can meet a new norm in future.
