Summary:Workload refers to the excessive tasks and responsibilities given to a person according to the individual’s ability. Meanwhile, job satisfaction is a condition of desire with services that are assessed and self -satisfaction after performing the work entrusted. This study was conducted by researchers to identify the factors of workload and job satisfaction of secondary school teachers in the town, Paloh. The main objective is to measure the level of workload and job satisfaction as well as to see the relationship between workload and job satisfaction of secondary school teachers. This study has used quantitative methods and descriptive analysis to analyze the research questions with a total of 108 respondents who have answered the questionnaire correctly and in timely. The results of the study have shown that these workload variables consist of time management, administrative management and teaching management. Meanwhile, for the variables of job satisfaction have been found to be achievement satisfaction, self -satisfaction and workplace satisfaction. This means that teachers in Paloh town secondary schools have influenced the relationship between workload and job satisfaction. Thus, some suggestions for factors of workload and job satisfaction among teachers have been included in this research study.
