At the same time there is an increase use of mobile information technology gadgets, which can be used as a way to minimize on the gap between health centers and patients. Monitoring and evaluation also becomes a problem as most of the health centers in the country lack personnel that can analyze the collected data to effectively give reports. This paper proposed the use of mobile messaging technologies through a health management system to enhance health monitoring and patient data analysis.The project entitled Patient Monitoring through Short Message Service will be developed in web base and SMS application concept. This system is built for Malacca Hospital and will be used by physician and patient. It will help physician to manage and handle all information with efficiency. It is also help patient to send SMS about their medical condition using their own hand phone to the physician. The medical report will be saved in the database. The physician can retrieve the data trough web application using patient IC Number.
