Entrepreneurial education is commonly perceived as the process of training individuals to be able to recognize commercial opportunities and the insight, knowledge and related skills to act on them through the formation of a business venture. However, there is an ongoing debate about whether we can actually teach students to be entrepreneurs. This argument is also suggested to originate from the suspicion on whether entrepreneurs are born or made. Data presented in this paper are confined to the existing literature pertaining to the issue of entrepreneurship education. Some contemporary approaches to entrepreneurship education were explored and presented. This paper also explores the issue of whether or not entrepreneurship can be taught in the classroom based on findings and arguments within the extant literature.
