The high-speed imaging and some image processing techniques are used to track the moving ball in the air. Image processing can give the dynamics information of the ball such as initial velocity, maximum height during trajectory, final velocity and elevation angle. The main software for this project is MATLAB, which is used to do the image processing for the high-speed video. The image processing technique is used to get split the video into frames. From the frames, the centroids of the ball are determined, and further analysis is done to get the velocity of the moving ball.
