to provide exposure and knowledge to students in the various major components of the English language testing which teachers may use in assessing primary school pupils' English language performance in different language areas. Therefore, this course would enable the English language teachers to gain better understanding of the English language testing components and how to use these testing instruments appropriately. Such knowledge and understanding may assist the teachers in enhancing their competency when selecting and preparing language testing instruments.
