The title of this research "Role of Mosque in community Integration, A case study in Masjid Ismail Petra Tanah Merah Kelantan". This research uses two main methods. There are library research and field research such as interview, questionnaire, nonparticipant observations and reviewing relevant document. The main purpose of this research is to know how far community integration could be played by the role of mosque itself, especially community who is living in Tanah Merah and to evaluates how far the role of mosque in community integration are can see in Rasulullah period. The author find out the mosque in Rasulullah period and today's have same aim and role although the modernizations and changing was happen in their performance. A part from that, the research also wants to know starting point of mosque development and introduces that mosque has its role more than just a religion place. Thus, its functions as an Islamic development centre and conducting program which are related to expansion of knowledge, besides that it also does an activity, which can make society who lives surrounding the mosque, become closer.
