In doing so the researcher proms the views of both the supporters and the opponents of Israeli narratives which are grounded on conflicting a hadith or even at times van be traced back to the position adopted by the companions. The difficulty, however, is that the a hadith in support of the Israeli narratives are related by those who were known for their Israeli narrations. The researcher, indeed discovered a wide range of diverse views among the companions, successors, Qur'anic exegetes, other scholars, such as modern rationalists, Shi'i Imamiyyah exegetes and others on the subject of Israeli narratives. Nevertheless, the researcher is inclined towards the maiden position adopted by the Companions and that of the ancient scholars on the reception or otherwise of Israeli narratives in contrasts to the rejectionist position of the modern rationalists and Shi'i Imamiyyah exegetes- in spite of their dependence on them in their books on exegeses. This research consists of three sections: the first part deals with the general exposition of Israeli narratives, and the second part delineates the causes for the narration of Israeli narratives in the book of exegeses, and the third part critically expounds the scholar's position on reliance on Israeli narratives or otherwise. 2013-03-12T07:39:32Z 2013-03-12T07:39:32Z 2013-03-12 Journal http://ddms.usim.edu.my/handle/123456789/6280 ab |

This study deals with the general exposition of Israeli narratives about the
stories contained in the exegeses of the Qur'an and discusses the reasons for their narration in the books of Qur'anic exegeses together with explicating
the position of their supporters and opponents. In doing so the researcher
proms the views of both the supporters and the opponents of Israeli narratives
which are grounded on conflicting a hadith or even at times van be traced
back to the position adopted by the companions. The difficulty, however, is
that the a hadith in support of the Israeli narratives are related by those who
were known for their Israeli narrations. The researcher, indeed discovered
a wide range of diverse views among the companions, successors, Qur'anic
exegetes, other scholars, such as modern rationalists, Shi'i Imamiyyah
exegetes and others on the subject of Israeli narratives. Nevertheless,
the researcher is inclined towards the maiden position adopted by the
Companions and that of the ancient scholars on the reception or otherwise
of Israeli narratives in contrasts to the rejectionist position of the modern
rationalists and Shi'i Imamiyyah exegetes- in spite of their dependence on
them in their books on exegeses. This research consists of three sections:
the first part deals with the general exposition of Israeli narratives, and the
