| Summary: | "Smart Tray" is a new concept of eco-friendly packaging that helps to reduce
environmental impact. This packaging is 100% biodegradable and compostable. It can be
biodegraded in 90-180 days with higher composting temperatures. Smart tray is made of
cornstarch which is a new generation of biodegradable 8 compostable plastics, derived
from renewable raw materials. Cornstarch is the starch of the corn (maize) grain that made
from corn. Corn is a renewable resource which makes corn plastics much more
sustainable than regular plastic and look and feel just like regular plastic. Smart tray is a
frozen microwave packaging for Keropok Lekor or fish sausage. Keropok lekor is a
traditional food which is famous in east coast, especially in Terengganu and it is also one
of the most favorite snacks for Malaysian people. The smart tray of Keropok Lekor
packaging is designed to fulfill a new concept of food packaging. This product comes in
various flavors such as original, black paper, spicy and BBQ. |
