This research focuses on foreign domestic workers from Indonesia who come working in this country. Besides that, this research aims to identify factors of this abuse and scrutinize measures that have been taken and need to be taken by government to overcome this issue. To accomplish this research, the writer refers to previous researchers and takes references from the library and internet to obtain information needed and related to this topic. The result of this research shows that government has been playing vital roles in framing steps to eradicate this problem. One of the steps is by forming Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement that aims to preserve the rights of employee and employer. Some other bodies also strive to help government. Such bodies are Women's Aid Association and Human Right Watch. Malaysian Immigration Department also disposes steps and update procedures in connection with the intake of foreign domestic workers. Actually, Malaysia does not have specific act relating to it. The provision in Employment Act 1955 does not provide for the protection for foreign domestic workers.
