Summary:This study explores the role of volunteers in contributing to the betterment of the quality of life for disable people. It looks at the involvement and importance of normal volunteers and volunteers with disabilities in helping the life of disable group. This study employs video ethnography method in which the data are gathered and accumulated through video recording of the interviews, observation as well as analysis of input given by the informant. The main objective of this study is to create a documentary video on volunteerism as well as ascertaining the profile of volunteers, the elements that motivates them and their main role in helping people with disabilities. A short documentary entitled "Misi Norsyam" with duration of 17 and 30 minutes was created. This research found that family background, education and level of income contributes to the involvement of a person in volunteerism.
