The hyperinflation experienced by the economies of Islamic countries has raised land prices and construction materials, reducing the possibility of geometric expansion in urban housing areas, whether by governments or individuals. This is because the reality of the situation indicates the existence of a real crisis in the widening housing finance and engineering projects. It is worth paying attention in this regard that there are additional and complex issues related to the use of adulterated substances in the field of engineering constructions and buildings, and this is harmful, and Allah (swt) has prohibited this through His religion and provided guidelines to avoid the harms before they occur. Parts of these guidelines are the moral aspect of the religion, which prohibit someone to commit fraud. To explain the aforementioned further, the aims that this paper seeks to highlight is finding solutions to the problems of the Islamic bank financing to individuals with limited income seeking for funding for the establishment of housing projects in order to be safe from embarrassment of leasing. To balance these constraints, Islamic banks are required to finance engineering projects for housing, which requires a serious stand to find a viable alternative from governments or social bodies. But for this idea to succeed, the researcher is of the view that there are plenty of incentives that will assist in facilitating the financing of these projects, including the presence of several suitable Islamic contracts, such as Istisna'a, Leasing, hire-purchase, in addition to different sale contracts; and these are alternatives urged by Islamic law in order to encourage the trend towards Islamic banks to finance engineering housing projects, and that can be a way to reduce the expected risk when natural disasters occur. 2019-04-18T03:35:48Z 2019-04-18T03:35:48Z 2018 Article http://ddms.usim.edu.my:80/jspui/handle/123456789/18142 ar Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia
