The total quality has received great consideration from various economic organizations in various parts of the world. Because of the positive results and tangible gains achieved by these organizations and the awareness of the theory and practice included in the Islamic approach in this area, the researcher explored issues like: what is the total quality in Islam, its principles, characteristics, importance, comparing it with quality in these theories. There will be a statement of the extent of their conflict, their philosophy, and the advantage of each over the other. In its Islamic part, the study showed the extent of the richness of Islamic thoughts, principles and attitudes that encourage quality starting with the God's mastery of creatures, then the call of his prophet Mohammad to perfection at work, right down to the followers that insured taking quality as a firm approach in the Islamic faith. This will be obtained by analyzing the related religious texts and Islamic practices, and comparing these with the methodology of the quality pioneers in the modern era. The study demonstrated to what extent it is possible to apply the (TQ) in Islam at the current time and all eras, depending on the globalization of Islam, its principles’ appropriateness for every decade. The researcher used the descriptive analytical comparative method. The research concludes: Islam has the priority to achieve the total quality and there is no contradiction between the overall quality of Islam and the quality in modern theories. The quality of Islam supports the overall modern quality. It opens broad areas to apply its principles. Its principles take into account humans needs and aspirations. The overall quality in Islam considers humanitarian aspects before commercial profit. It also includes other aspects of human life like human rights, family relations, society matters.
