Summary:Social norms can be effective factors in promoting environmental behavior. To date, the little research that does exist recommends that there is a discrepancy between what people approve (injunctive norms) of and what people actually do (descriptive norms). Two kinds of norms were compared using PLS (Partial least Square) tool in this survey. The results showed two types of norms were independent and differentiated.
