Description
Summary:A nodal approach to personal knowledge management is proposed in which a knowledge worker works cooperatively with intelligent software agents in a virtual workspace called a Node. A node is a cooperative architecture of a knowledge worker and one or more software agents, also known as role agents, to perform some roles for the knowledge worker. The nodal approach analyzes personal knowledge management processes by characterizing these nodes as intelligent entities. In this paper, we propose the characterization of a node and show how such node could be replicated and animated to perform a knowledge management function. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
