Due to recent rising interest on sustaining the environment while enhancing the development, power dispatching of the distributed generation with renewable energy is gaining an acceptance to be the solution to the rising problems in power generation system. Economic dispatch plays an important role in the engineering field and a necessary step especially in the power system operational planning. The economic dispatch problem can be solving by using several technique such as optimization that has been used widely in the field. This project will basically involve a research on the grid system connection of power system that is connected with the renewable energy. In this project, the problem that will be encountered occurred regarding on the economic dispatch is on how to optimize and minimize the cost of generating the power using renewable energy such as wind energy and also solar photovoltaic. From the result of simulation, the production of the electricity by each source can be determined and analyzed. By using these sources, it must enclose the practical aspect of what type seems viable in an economic and management perspective. The scope of the project will be based on the University Tenaga Nasional and all the data taken is using the UNITEN as a reference. The project research will be conduct by proposing a virtual system using selected software and thus the system consist of renewable energy will be made.
