The role of flood forecasting and warning system as non-structural measure of mitigation is important as it complement the structural flood mitigation. The structural measures to mitigate the destructive effect of flooding. The project based on IFAS at Muar River Basin is to be developed for hydrological and flood analysis. The given title for the project is 'Near Real Time Flood Forecasting Model for Muar River Basin'.
