spelling my.uniten.dspace-348512024-10-27T02:00:24Z The effect of force during molding process on permeability and RLF of mill-scale derived NI-ZN ferrite AlNuwaiser Muath AbdulRahman A Plastics TP1150.M82 2015 Ferrite core have been produced following two techniques, one by extracting hematite (Fe2O3) from mill scale derived where the other is based on production grade (Cu substituted Ni-Zn ferrite) which was prepared by a conventional ceramic technique. electrical properties of the ferrite were measured and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), frequency dependent power, permeability, resistivity and relative loss factor (RLF). In order to produce good and effective EMI suppressors good properties such as high permeabilitty and high relative loss factor (RLF) are desired and needed to improve the suppressors quality. According to the studies and experiments conducted in this particular project, it is revealed that in term of electrical properties both ferrite cores produced using mill scale and production grade are similar based on the measurements and analysis done however, production grade sample with different pressure values of 2kn, 4kn and 6kn showed significant differences in structure and properties.
